No more excuses.

Just an quick update.

I have been at the "new" job for about one and a half years. I think things are going pretty well there now. Schedule is a little more under control. Working 7-5 or there abouts now.

A Gold's Gym opened up this year very close to work so I signed up there. This has alleviated a lot of workout concerns as I can get in at lunch now. I am typically getting to the gym 2-3 times a week for resistance training.

I have also recently added swimming back into the mix. Tuesday's have me heading to the pool to swim for about an hour after work.

Thursdays are typically fight practice in the evenings. This has all come together to mean I am fairly active again, which is good.

Another step in the right direction is going back to food logging. I have started using www.livestrong.com to log my daily calorie intake, 1800 is my goal at the moment, as well as my current weight. This will allow me to better asses the calories I am burning in a week.

Since I have started this I have dropped from 220lbs back to about 210lbs as of today and am doing fine.

What does this all mean? Same thing as always. We may be busy, we may not think we have time, but they are all just excuses. If we want to be healthy and active we need to make it a priority in life and get it done.
