More Training Equipment: Quick overview

I just wanted to throw up a quick post to highlight some of the toys I have created.

Here is a bunch of stuff I brought home from the store last year. Sledge hammer, basket ball, sand, tire plug kit, contractor clean up bag, wheel, canvas bag, duct tape.

The sand and ball with the plug kit got turned into a medicine ball....

First I filled it with a funnel and then using glue and a tire patch kit I sealed the ball. It has held up fine for basic stuff, but I haven't given it the ballistic treatment. I had a small ball to make a tornado ball with, but it got used for the mace head...

Next up is the sandbag. Using the contractor clean-up bags and the sand
+ duct tape I made a modular sand bag.
The bag has held up well, but I disliked the canvas bag I bought so I sewed a new one out of some brown denim, which seems to do ok. Note I again am using these for lifting and don't do much slamming.

Finally I wanted to highlight the macebell I created using a shovel handle, a small basket ball and cement. The mace is sitting on top of the new sand bag cover as well. Way nicer. In the end I added some tape marks along the handle to allow for progression.
