The week has proven busy between school and work. Not that this is a new thing. Despite working one less day this semester I am working more hours than I was last semester. Which will make the pay cheques nice, and schedule wise it's not to bad. It keeps me busy and out of trouble. Although somedays I think I should just sleep here on campus.
We are well into the semester now. I like all of my teachers, well all but the networking guy. I am sure he has exprience in the field or some such thing, but frankly I think he is a bit of a tool and couldn't teach his way out of a wet paper bag.
So far we have written two quizzes. One in Stats and one in Geology. I scored 22 out of 24 on the stats test, and although I haven't gotten the Geology one back yet, we went over it in class and I am pretty sure I got everything right. So that one will be nice as well.
One of the guys in my class has an old graphing calculator that he just came across a TI-81. If you know anything about these you know that the TI-83 is the most common model they sell now. The TI-81 was the first model they sell. It is QUITE underpowered compared to the 83s, but compared to my $9 superstore calculator it is plenty powerful. It's basic Stats functions make it worth it's weight in gold compared to the one I was using.

If you remeber back to the end of the Calculus semester, 2 people were in the running for the highest mark in the class. Me and Raj. Raj has sinced taken a DB consulting job with a US company and is waiting for his Visa papers to go through. He has officially dropped the program now and it in the middle of moving. Tonight a bunch of us are all supposed to go out to a club. I am not a large fan of clubs, infact typically avoid them like the plague. I guess this is a fairly special occasion so I will go down for a little while to say good-bye..or well yell it I guess.
I don't watch a lot of TV these days, but on the ole fitness forums, "Heros" has quite the following. So I have tuned into this show and am now pretty hooked. I only mention this because this was the first week it was back on with a new episode! YAY!
Here is a website that we found last semester. More specifically a link to it's glossary page which is pretty cool. http://www.glossary.oilfield.slb.com/default.cfm
